Supervision offers opportunities; for example, to step back and to reflect on practice; to explore ideas and concerns in a safe and objective environment; to learn experimentally and actively; to invite and receive constructive feedback, and to share wisdom.
As a professional psychologist I am committed to continuous professional development. Supervision helps me to focus and to develop my practice further; it offers feedback and challenge, and opportunities to be open in a ‘confidential space’ about personal or professional concerns.
