My qualifications and training include the following:

  • PhD (Psychology) – Dissertation focused on wellbeing and work – research that can be applied practically to individuals and organisations.
  • MSc Occupational Psychology – Enables me to combine theory and practice, and to take an evidence-based approach.
  • Diploma in Hypnotherapy – Practical techniques underpinned by research and theory, complementing psychological coaching.
  • Diploma in Leadership and Executive Coaching & Mentoring – An opportunity to build on knowledge and skills, underpinned by further understanding of coaching leaders.
  • Diploma in Management Studies – Followed when in a senior management, and which helps inform work with managers and organisations.
  • MSc Applied Social Studies / Certificate of Qualification in Social Work – An earlier satisfying and challenging career, in which I felt privileged to enter the lives of others and to learn much from them.

These are complemented by training in e.g.: brief therapy, solution-focused coaching, coaching supervision, mindfulness, NLP, groupwork, and many other courses concerned with individual, group or organisational psychology and management development. I am also registered to use ability, interest and personality tests, including MBTI©, 16PF, and FIRO™.
