Over the past few weeks I’ve been on the receiving end of many acts of kindness. For example, receiving a wedding anniversary card from the Quaker Registering Officer – he still remembers after 12 years; being treated to a coffee by a friend; being given a delicious yogurt when I had forgotten to bring a packed lunch; being allowed to watch what I want on television; being found a special chair in a café; and lots more … generosity, thoughtfulness and kindness. Now it’s for me to continue to find opportunities to be the same … I’ve:

31. Made a sandwich and drink for a gardener who needed a break

32. Offered to help someone with their shopping

33. Passed on a book I found really fascinating

34. Given a lovely ‘Quakers for peace’ badge to an inspirational Friend who to me epitomises peace

35. Searched the internet to find information for someone
